Meandering across the lower foothills of Mount Haleakala are the pristine fairways of the Wailea Blue Course "Old Blue" of the Wailea Golf Club. Completed in 1972, The Grand Dame was designed and named by the legendary Arthur Jack Snyder and stretches 6,765 yards from her blue tees with eighteen classic golf holes.

Charming her way into the hearts of many Wailea Resort golfers, the "great lady of Wailea" has been host to many professional events, including the LPGA Women's Kemper Open. Wailea Ekolu is located on the northern tip of the 16th Fairway and runs along the 15th Fairway about half the way. Nestled along the 7th Fairway and between the 6th and 8th Fairways is the Grand Champions Villas. Still under construction is one of Wailea's newest condo communities, Kai Malu at Wailea. It is surrounded by the 7th, 11th, 12th Fairways and is bordered by Wailea Fairway Estates. This next project is still under construction as well, Hoolei Wailea runs along Wailea Alanui Drive and has the 3rd, 4th and 5th fairways on three of its remaining sides.
