Kapalua Plantation Course
As part of the Kapaula Resort® community in West Maui, the Kapalua Plantation Course spans across rolling pineapple fields, Hawaiian canyons and rocky shorelines. Built in 1991 by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, this intraquit Maui golf course in Kapalua features 95 bunkers, expansive fairways, elevation changes and windy shorelines. The signature hole for the Kapalua Plantation Course is the 18th with its 665-yard downhill, down wind par-5. While its more than challenging, the 18th provides one of the most breathtaking views on the whole island of Maui.
The par 73, 7,411-yard Plantation Course, is the course of the champions, site of the PGA TOUR Mercedes-Benz Championship each January featuring an elite field of previous year's PGA TOUR winners. The field has included golf greats such as Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Justin Leonard, Ernie Els, Davis Love III and many more. The grand scale of the Kapalua Plantation Course designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore unfurls across natural geographic formations and pineapple plantation fields that take your breath away.
